Julian Cohen represents individuals and companies in high-stakes litigation, partnering closely with clients to help them achieve favorable results both in and out of the courtroom. He has worked with clients on matters including partnership, shareholder, and employment disputes, breach of contract and fiduciary duty cases, and discrimination and matrimonial suits, preparing in-depth research to support legal strategies and conducting document preparation, filing, and discovery. He enjoys helping clients understand what to expect at each stage of the legal process and providing close advocacy and support in collaboration with the Storch Byrne team.

Julian graduated cum laude from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he was an Articles Editor on the Cardozo Law Review. While in law school, he completed internships at Seelig Law Offices, working directly with clients to enforce their rights under government programs, and Yeshiva University Office of General Counsel, where he worked on contract, commercial real estate, and compliance and regulatory matters and led the Summer Associate Pro Bono Program. Drawing from an interest in constitutional law, he published a Note in the Cardozo Law Review examining prisoners’ right to medical care provided by the Eighth Amendment and arguing for new healthcare treatment standards for prisoners with gender dysphoria. He also participated in the Cardozo Law School Mediation Clinic, where he provided free mediation services in Manhattan Small Claims Court and became a certified mediator with the New York Peace Institute.

Julian holds B.A.s in history and economics from the University of California, Davis.
